With South Africa at a major cross roads, or even a T-junction, it is crucial for agri businesses and roleplayers along the food value chain to understand the environment in which they are operating. This is according to Agbiz CEO, John Purchase, who says this has been among the main criteria taken into account in structuring the programme for the agricultural business chambers’ forthcoming biennial Congress.
Some of the key factors on the agenda include factors such as the economic outlook, trade development, water and energy issues, land reform debates and various other South African scenarios. The keynote speaker is Reserve Bank Governor, Lesetja Kganyago. Purchase says a lot of time will also be spent on the political economy of South Africa.See more at: http://www.ofm.co.za/article/news/184083/agbiz-congress-aims-to-unpack-business-environment#sthash.FMpS7ZMf.dpuf
