Agbiz Hosts Successful Media Day, Highlights Industry Confidence and Future Outlook

Pretoria, 5 December 2025 – Agbiz hosted another successful Agbiz Media Day 2025 in Pretoria, bringing together members of the media and the agribusiness community for a day of insights, reflections, and forward-looking discussions. The event, themed “Connecting the Dots: Collaborative Solutions Across Policy, Markets, Logistics & Trade for 2026”, provided a platform for knowledge sharing and highlighted key developments in South Africa’s agriculture and agribusiness sectors.

The Media Day featured the release of the latest Agbiz/IDC Agribusiness Confidence Index (ACI), which showed a slight increase in Q4 2025, signalling optimism in the industry after two consecutive quarters of decline. The full report is available here.
